How it works

Let's start by feeling something soft. Hold the scarf or cloth and gently brush it against your child's arm or cheek. Say, 'Feel how soft this is. It's like a calm cloud.'

Now let's try a breathing game. Hold the cloth near your face and take a slow breath in and out. Say, 'Breathe in calm, breathe out calm.' Encourage your child to watch or join.

Let's add movement. Gently wave the cloth up and down like a slow cloud. Say, 'Up, up, calm. Down, down, calm.' See if your child wants to help wave or watch.
