Tummy Time Bubbles
Parent blows bubbles while baby is on tummy time outdoors, creating a joyful distraction that makes tummy time more enjoyable. The agent coaches the parent to observe visual tracking, reaching attempts, and social engagement as baby interacts with the floating bubbles — building physical strength and outdoor exploration.

What you'll need
Baby on tummy on a blanket in shaded outdoor area. Parent sitting facing baby with bubbles nearby. Choose a calm day without strong wind. Baby should be alert and not hungry.
How it works
- 1~30s
Start by blowing a few bubbles gently toward your child. Watch their eyes closely — does your child track the bubbles as they float? You might see them focus intently, turn their head, or even try to follow them with their gaze. Tell me what you notice about how your child responds to the first bubbles.
Watch for: Baby visually tracks moving bubbles with eyes and/or head movement.
- 2~35s
Now blow some bubbles that float down toward your child's hands. Watch to see if they tries to reach for them or pop them. Does your child lift their chest or push up on their arms to get closer? Even an attempt to swipe at a bubble counts — we're looking for that motivation to interact. What do you see?
Watch for: Baby shows curiosity and engagement with outdoor environment through bubble interaction.
- 3~30s
For our last round, make this a social game. Blow bubbles while making eye contact with your child and using an excited voice: 'Look! Bubbles!' Pop some yourself with dramatic 'pop!' sounds. Does your child laugh, smile, or make happy sounds? Does they look back and forth between you and the bubbles, sharing the joy? Tell me about their emotional response.
Watch for: Baby shows joyful emotional expression during shared bubble play.
