Alright, let's get started! The purpose of this activity is to exercise your baby's fine motor skills. Therefore we'll be exercising the physical developmental area. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.
Watch for: Baby move small things from one box to another, using thumb and forefinger.

Great, now let's try the next part. More specifically the motor cortex. To complete this activity you will need a white cardboard, a plate, orange washable paint, a black sheet of paper and glue. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!
Watch for: Baby hold small objects with the forefingers.

One more thing to try. Begin this activity by cutting two triangles, one rectangle, and a half circle from the black sheet of paper. Now ask your baby to place his hands on the orange paint and start painting the plate with them. Afterwards place the figures on the plate, putting the triangles as the eyes, the half circle as the mouth, and the rectangle as the stem of the pumpkin. During the exercise observe if your baby uses his hands to make intentional movements and experiments with and reacts to different textures. How does your child handle this? What do you see?
