    Great, now let's try the next part. Begin this activity by placing your baby on his tummy on a mat. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    One more thing to try. Hold a visual stimulus such as a toy that your baby can see. Then move the object up and down and have your baby follow it with his eyes.
