    Alright, let's get started! The purpose of this activity is to enhance your child's creativity and learn about more colors. Therefore, we'll be focusing on the cognitive developmental area, specifically on learning about shapes and colors. To complete this activity, you will need blue and yellow washable paint, card stock paper and a plate. Pour some paint on the plate. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Great, now let's try the next part. Invite your child to put one hand on the yellow section and one hand on the blue one. Ask your youngster to leave both of his or her hand prints on the paper. Encourage your toddler to identify the colors he or she is using. Now, invite your child to rub his or her hands together to create the color green. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!
