    Alright, let's get started! The purpose of this activity is to encourage your child to learn about the five senses. Therefore, we'll be focusing on the cognitive developmental area, specifically on concept learning. To complete this activity, you will need markers and cardstock paper. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Watch for: Toddler know what certain body parts do, like ears are for hearing.

  2. 2~30s

    Great, now let's try the next part. Talk with your child about the five senses and how we use them. Mention each part of the body and ask your toddler to identify and name them. Then, draw a mental map of the five senses. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    Watch for: Toddler know the difference between one, two, and many.

  3. 3~30s

    One more thing to try. Ask him or her to give an example of things that you can perceive with each of these senses. For example, a bell for the sense of hearing. During this activity, you will be stimulating his or her frontal lobe, the area in charge of cognitive processes. Use Connecticut to stimulate growth in your child every day.
