    Alright, let's get started! The purpose of this activity is to stimulate socialization and creativity through play. Therefore we will be exercising the social and emotional developmental area, more specifically emotional intelligence. To complete this activity you will need two cardboard paper rolls, tissue paper, white glue, a hole puncher and string. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Watch for: Little One copy what adults do when playing, like pretends to rock and feed a doll like a baby.

    Great, now let's try the next part. Complete this activity by inviting some of your toddler's friends over to play. Begin by giving each a paper roll and strips of tissue paper of various colors. Ask them to glue the strips on one end of the paper roll, helping them if necessary. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    Watch for: Little One swing arms in circles or side to side, copying your moves.

  3. 3~30s

    One more thing to try. Once they're finished gluing them, make two holes on each end of the paper roll and tie a piece of string. This way they can hang it and the tissue strips of paper will fly with the wind. During this exercise observe your toddler begins a conversation with kids his or her age. How does your child handle this? What do you see?

    Watch for: Little One imitate family members during play.
