Fun with Cards!
A matching game where we paste characters on the front of cards and their tools on the back, helping {child_name} understand front/back concepts and one/two/many quantities.
Opens a guided voice session in TogetherTime.
How it works
- 1
First, let's look at all our materials together. We have cards, pictures of people like police officers and doctors, and pictures of their tools like police cars and stethoscopes. you, could you lay everything out on the floor and ask your child: 'How many things do we have here? Are there one, two, or many things?'

Now let's start with one pair. you, pick one character like the police officer. Show your child the front of a card and say 'This is the front.' Paste the police officer there. Then show the back of the same card and say 'This is the back.' Paste the police car there. Ask your child: 'Can you show me where the front is? Where's the back?'

Now let's try matching! you, show your child the firefighter picture and the fire truck picture. Ask: 'Which one goes on the front? Which one goes on the back?' Then help them paste them. You could ask: 'Why does the fire truck go on the back?'

Let's decorate our cards now! you, give your child crayons and encourage them to draw on the cards. Ask: 'Can you draw something on the front? How about the back?' This reinforces the front/back concept through creativity.
