How it works

  1. 1

First, put the balloon on your head and say, 'Balloon on my head!' Then jump gently and move it down to your shoulders. Ask your child to copy you.

  2. 2

Now move the balloon down to your belly and knees, naming each part. Say, 'Now belly... now knees!' Encourage your child to say the names with you.

  3. 3

Go all the way down to the feet, then back up to the head, naming each part. Ask your child to lead the naming this time!

  4. 4

Let's do one more round, focusing on the lower body—waist to feet and back. Remind your child that these are the parts we use when pulling pants up and down.
