How it works

  1. 1

Great! Let's start with something familiar. Choose one of your child's favorite toys that makes a sound. Have your child turn around so they can't see it. Cover the toy with the blanket and play its sound. Then ask your child to guess what's hiding. What does your child do?

  2. 2

Nice job! Let's try another object, like a rattle or a squeaky toy. Hide it under the blanket, play the sound, and ask your child what they thinks it is. How does your child respond this time?

  3. 3

Let's challenge your child a bit! Choose an object with a less familiar sound, like a crinkly book or a bell. Hide it, play the sound, and ask for their guess. What does your child do?
