Where's the sticker? II

To begin this activity, tell your little one that you'll be reviewing the names of different parts of the body today. How many can she name? Help your little one remember the names by pasting a sticker on each part and naming it. Have your toddler stand in front of a mirror so that she can see the sticker on each particular body part. Once you've covered the large body parts, move on to more specific ones, like elbows, cheeks and eyebrows. Next, have your little one choose where to paste the sticker.

How it works

  1. 1

Let's begin with the big body parts! Place a sticker on your child's nose and say 'nose'. Then ask them to point to their nose and say the word with you.

  2. 2

Now let's try trickier spots! Place a sticker on your child's elbow. Say 'elbow' clearly and have them repeat it. Then try 'eyebrow' with another sticker.

  3. 3

Now let your child take the lead! Give them a sticker and ask where to put it on you. When your child places it, name that body part clearly.

  4. 4

Let's use the mirror! Stand with your child and point to a sticker on them. Ask 'Where's the sticker?' and have your child name that body part while looking in mirror.
