    Alright, let's get started! The purpose of this activity is to associate objects with family members. Therefore we'll be exercising the cognitive developmental area, more specifically, reasoning skills. To complete this activity, you will need objects that belong to family members. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Watch for: Little One imitate family members during play.

    Great, now let's try the next part. To start with this activity, hand your child a few objects under clothing of different family members and ask him or her to interact with these. For example, Mom's lipstick or Dad's shoes. Ask him or her simple questions like, how does Mom wear this? Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    Watch for: Little One swing arms in circles or side to side, copying your moves.

    One more thing to try. Help him or her in every moment if he or she does not know how to use any particular object. During this exercise, observe if your toddler portrays family members while playing. Ask him to do to stimulate growth in your child every day. How does your child handle this? What do you see?
