They are friends! II
Take time to discuss what happens in the story between the main characters, identifying them in the printouts. Ask {child_name} to group the characters together that were friends in the movie, to make another group with the characters that were family, and another one with characters that are mean. Let this activity spark a conversation about relationships with friends and family.

How it works
- 1
Let's start by looking at the character printouts together. {Parent_name}, could you help your child point to a character they recognizes? Maybe someone from The Lion King or The Incredibles?
- 2
Now let's think about friendship. {Parent_name}, could you help your child find characters who were good friends in their stories? Maybe Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King, or Dash and Violet from The Incredibles?
- 3
Let's make two more groups now. {Parent_name}, could you help your child find characters who are family members in the stories? And then characters who were mean or unkind?
- 4
Now let's talk about real friendships. {Parent_name}, could you ask your child: What do you like about having friends? How do good friends act toward each other?
