Pop Bubble Wrap Fun
Parent sets up bubble wrap circles on the floor for child to jump on, creating a fun sensory experience while developing jumping skills. The agent coaches the parent to observe jumping coordination, force control, and balance — building gross motor skills through playful physical challenges.

What you'll need
Clear floor space for jumping. Bubble wrap circles taped securely to floor in a pattern. Small step stool or low platform (4-6 inches high) nearby. Ensure area is free of obstacles.
How it works
- 1~45s
Start by inviting your child to stand on one of the bubble wrap circles. Say 'Let's see how many bubbles we can pop!' Encourage them to jump up and down right there on the circle. Watch your child's feet closely — does they get both feet off the ground at the same time? Does they land with control? The bubble wrap gives great auditory feedback for each jump. Tell me what you notice about their jumping coordination.
Watch for: Child jumps with both feet leaving ground simultaneously and landing with some control.
- 2~50s
Now let's focus on landing. Ask your child to jump and try to make a BIG pop sound with the bubble wrap. Then try a small, quiet jump. Watch how they adjusts their force — does they understand that harder jumps make louder pops? Notice their landing — does they bend their knees to absorb the impact? This force control is important for safe jumping.
Watch for: Child shows balance control during jumping — bends knees on landing, maintains upright posture, adjusts force intentionally.
- 3~60s
Now let's add the step stool. Place it right next to a bubble wrap circle. Help your child stand on the stool — it should be just a few inches high. Encourage them to jump off the stool onto the bubble wrap circle. Watch carefully — does your child push off with both feet? Does they land with stability, or does they need to take extra steps to recover balance? This jump-down skill builds confidence with height changes.
Watch for: Child jumps down from low step with both feet, lands with reasonable control and balance.
