How it works

  1. 1~30s

Alright, let's get started! Begin this activity by creating a jungle gym in which your child will have to move objects and use them strategically. You may use toy cars or any other toys that have wheels. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

Watch for: Little One push or pulls toys while walking.

  2. 2~30s

Great, now let's try the next part. At the end of it, hide a toy under a sheet or in a box. Now invite your child to go through the jungle gym and find the hidden toy. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

Watch for: Little One goe from sitting to standing without help.

  3. 3~30s

One more thing to try. Help and motivate him or her throughout the entire activity, so he or she can reach the goal. Your child will be reinforcing his or her gross motor skills and problem solving abilities. During this exercise, observe if your toddler strategically looks for a hidden object and moves toys with wheels. How does your child handle this? What do you see?
