How it works

   Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, you will need a tambourine. Begin by explaining to your child that there are both fast and slow rhythms of music. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

   Watch for: Little One clap or taps an instrument to the rhythm of a song.

2. 2~30s

   Great, now let's try the next part. Using a tambourine to exemplify the different rhythms. Now, explain that you will play a game with rhythms. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

   Watch for: Little One try to sing along with songs they know.

3. 3~30s

   One more thing to try. Whenever he or she hears a fast rhythm from the tambourine, your she must walk or dance rapidly, and when the rhythm is slower, your she must dance or walk more slowly. Whenever your toddler doesn't hear anything, your she must stay in place without moving. During this exercise, observe if your toddler follows the rhythm of a song and follows instructions.
