Let's Laugh!
Parent uses two soft toys or puppets to create playful interactions that encourage baby to laugh and engage socially. The agent coaches the parent to observe baby's joyful responses, imitation attempts, and social connection during play — building early social skills and emotional expression through shared laughter.

What you'll need
Parent and baby facing each other in a comfortable position (baby propped up, in parent's lap, or on soft surface). Two soft toys or puppets within reach. Space should be safe and free of distractions.
How it works
- 1~30s
Take one toy in each hand and show them to your child. Make the toys come alive with funny voices and gentle movements — maybe have them 'talk' to each other or dance around. Watch your child's face closely. Does they smile or show excitement? Does their expression light up at this playful interaction with you? Tell me what you notice.
Watch for: Baby shows clear enjoyment during playful interaction with parent — smiling, excited movements, or vocalizations.
- 2~35s
Now let's try to get a real laugh! Use the toys to gently tickle your child — maybe under the chin, on the tummy, or on the feet. Make silly sounds as you do it — 'boop boop!' or 'tickle tickle!' Watch closely. Does your child giggle or laugh out loud? Even a single chuckle counts! Notice if they looks at your face while laughing, sharing the joy with you.
Watch for: Baby produces audible laughter in response to playful stimulation, showing developing emotional expression.
- 3~40s
Now give one of the toys to your child. Hold your toy and demonstrate something simple — maybe tapping it on your knee or making it 'nod' yes. See if your child tries to imitate you with their toy. Watch for any copying behavior, even if it's not exact. Does they look at your toy, then look at their own? Does they make any similar movements?
Watch for: Baby attempts to imitate parent's actions with toy, showing early social learning through observation.
