Go for a Spin
Parent places baby on a soft mat and gently rocks and spins them to stimulate vestibular awareness and strengthen muscles. The agent coaches the parent to observe baby's responses to position changes, leg movement, and muscle tone — building body awareness and gross motor foundations.

What you'll need
Baby on a soft mat or blanket, lying on back. The mat should be large enough to hold baby securely. A flat, safe floor surface. Parent ready to hold mat edges gently.
How it works
- 1~30s
Gently hold the edges of the mat and create a slight curve so your child is nestled in the middle. Now rock them slowly from side to side — very gently, like a little cradle. Watch your child's legs — does they kick or lift them in response to the movement? Also notice their hands — do they open and close? Tell me what you see.
Watch for: Baby kicks or lifts legs in response to the rocking movement, showing active muscle engagement.
- 2~25s
Now let's try a very gentle spin. With your child on their back on the mat, slowly rotate the mat in a full circle — take about 10 seconds to go all the way around. Watch your child's face and body. Does they seem aware of the position change? Look for wide eyes, changes in expression, or limb movements. How does they react?
Watch for: Baby extends arms and legs or shows body awareness in response to rotational movement.
- 3~30s
If your child is enjoying this, let's gently turn them onto their tummy on the mat. Now try a very gentle rock from side to side again. On their tummy, watch for something different — does your child try to extend their arms and legs outward? This is like a little airplane pose. Also watch for any hand opening and closing. What do you notice?
Watch for: Baby opens and closes hands during vestibular stimulation, showing fine motor engagement.
