How it works

  1. 1~30s

    Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, place an object that could be considered an obstacle for your baby, like a small step or a toy, and show him how to overcome it by stepping over it. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Watch for: Little One take a couple of steps on their own.

  2. 2~30s

    Great, now let's try the next part. Help him do so a couple of times so that eventually he learns how to do it by himself. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    Watch for: Little One squat to pick things up while walking.

  3. 3~30s

    One more thing to try. During this exercise, observe if your baby coordinates his movements by alternating his feet to go from one side of the room to the other. How does your child handle this? What do you see?

    Watch for: Little One walk while holding a small toy.
