How it works
- 1~30s
Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, you will need a small box, a jar, a cup, and objects to fill them with. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.
Watch for: Baby take objects out of a container.
- 2~30s
Great, now let's try the next part. Begin by offering your baby the containers one by one, and asking her to drop whatever is inside them. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!
Watch for: Baby grab things with their whole hand.
- 3~30s
One more thing to try. Your baby will discover that in order to empty each container, she has to turn it upside down. Let her try it a few times. During this exercise, observe if your baby empties containers and lets objects drop to the floor. How does your child handle this? What do you see?
Watch for: Baby put things into containers.
