What you'll need

You'll need a jar with water, a container to pour it over, or a sink. Encourage baby's exploration and independence.

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, you will need a jar with water, and a container to pour it over, or a sink and tap. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

Watch for: Little One correctly use some everyday items (like sipping from a cup or dialing a phone).

  2. 2~30s

Great, now let's try the next part. To begin, place one of your baby's hands underneath the water jet while gradually increasing the volume of water coming out of the spout. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

Watch for: Little One explore on their own with a caregiver nearby.

  3. 3~30s

One more thing to try. This way, your baby will be able to feel the differences in the water's volume. During this exercise, observe if your baby distinguishes between scarcity and abundance. How does your child handle this? What do you see?

Watch for: Little One feed independently, with or without utensils.
