How it works

  1. 1~30s

    Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, place your baby standing by a piece of furniture she can easily hold on to. Next, place a toy out of her reach, about 15 centimeters to the right side. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Watch for: Baby stand while holding on to something.

  2. 2~30s

    Great, now let's try the next part. Your baby will lean towards the toy and transfer all her body weight to the right foot. Continue doing this until she lifts her left foot. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    Watch for: Baby goe from sitting to standing with the aid of a large object, like furniture.

  3. 3~30s

    One more thing to try. Repeat the same exercise, but now to the left side. During this exercise, observe if your baby begins to walk by leaning on the furniture. How does your child handle this? What do you see?
