Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, you will need a staircase. Take your baby to a low step. At first, your baby will only place his or her hands on it and lean over it. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

Great, now let's try the next part. Help your baby by gently lifting his or her knee towards the next step. Babies tend to descend from heights head first and crawl onwards without halting at the edge. Teach your baby that he or she must stop at the edge, turn around and descend starting with her feet. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!
