How it works
- 1~30s
Alright, let's get started! To complete this activity, talk to your baby and explain how some things go before others. For example, before eating, we wash our hands. After eating, we brush our teeth. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.
Watch for: Baby watch curiously and intently while you do things.
- 2~30s
Great, now let's try the next part. We're done playing now, so we have to put these balls away. After we're done putting these balls away, we're going to wash your hands so that they're nice and clean for dinner. Okay, and after dinner, it'll be time for your bath. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!
Watch for: Baby listen to people talking.
- 3~30s
One more thing to try. Let's get all of these balls away. The red, and the green. Now that we're done cleaning up, let's go wash your hands before dinner. During this exercise, observe if your baby pays attention to you while you speak. How does your child handle this? What do you see?
