    Alright, let's get started! Begin this activity by slightly stepping away from your baby, and then calling out to him or her from a certain distance. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

    Watch for: Baby lift their arms to be carried.

  2. 2~30s

    Great, now let's try the next part. Call your baby by his or her name and repeat this several times. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

    Watch for: Baby show preference for certain people.

  3. 3~30s

    One more thing to try. When this exercise observe if your baby turns to look at you and extends his or her arms to be carried. How does your child handle this? What do you see?

    Watch for: Baby when they hear their name, they move toward the person by crawling, walking, or turning in their direction.
