What you'll need

This helps strengthen your baby's leg and abdominal muscles.

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Alright, let's get started! Therefore we'll be working on a physical developmental area, specifically the motor cortex. Begin this activity by placing your baby in his crib. you, watch your child closely — I'd love to hear what you notice about how they responds.

Watch for: Baby when lying on their back, they lift and kick their legs.

  2. 2~30s

Great, now let's try the next part. Now bend your baby's legs towards his tummy causing tension, and then release them and stretch them completely. Next, hang mobile objects of attractive colors in the crib, within reach of your baby's feet, so he can kick and move them when he stretches his legs. Tell me what your child does — any reaction counts!

Watch for: Baby lift their legs about 4 inches (10 cm) off the ground when lying on their back.

  3. 3~30s

One more thing to try. During this exercise, observe if your baby bends and extends his legs alternately. Use Knadu to stimulate growth in your baby every day. How does your child handle this? What do you see?

Watch for: Baby grab a small object placed in their hands.
