What you'll need

No materials needed. Find a comfortable spot where you and your child can talk without distractions. Let your child know this is a fun thinking game about tricky situations — like being a coach who helps people figure things out.

How it works

  1. 1~45s

Great! Here's the first situation. Ask your child: 'Imagine you're working on a group project at school, and one person in your group isn't doing any of the work. The project is due tomorrow. What would you do?' Give them time to think and then tell me what they says.

  2. 2~45s

Now let's flip it. Ask your child: 'Imagine your best friend told another kid a secret you shared with them. You feel really hurt. What would you say to your friend?' Let me know how they responds.

  3. 3~45s

Last scenario! Ask your child: 'Some kids at school are leaving one kid out of their game at recess every day. You notice it happening. What would you do?' Tell me what they says.
