How it works

  1. 1

Let's start by looking for a small insect, like an ant or a beetle. When you find one, ask your child: 'What do you think this little creature needs to live?'

  2. 2

Now let's find a plant, like grass or a leaf. Ask your child: 'How is this plant different from the bug we saw? How is it the same?'

  3. 3

Let's draw what we found! Ask your child: 'Can you draw the bug or plant we saw? What would happen if it didn't get what it needs?'

  4. 4

Time to gently return our bug friend to its home. Ask your child: 'What was your favorite thing about our bug adventure today?'
