How it works

  1. 1

Great! Let's begin by drawing the first clue together. Ask your child what they'd like to find first—maybe a spoon or a toy—and help them draw a simple picture of it. Observe how your child engages with creating the clue.

  2. 2

Now hide the object somewhere easy to find. Give your child the clue and say, 'Let's see if we can find this!' Watch how your child approaches the search.

  3. 3

When your child finds the object, celebrate the discovery! Then ask, 'Should we make another clue?' See if your child wants to continue the game.

  4. 4

If your child is engaged, try a trickier clue or let your child hide an object for you. Notice how your child handles a new challenge.
