How it works

   Let's start with something simple. Hold up the bowl and say '碗' (wǎn) clearly. Then ask your child: 'Can you say 碗 (wǎn)?'

   Now let's play a matching game. Place the spoon, cup, and apple on the table. Say: 'your child, can you show me 勺子 (sháo zi) - the spoon?'

3. 3

   Let's make it more fun! Hold up the apple and say: '这是苹果 (zhè shì píng guǒ) - This is an apple.' Then ask: 'your child, can you say 这是苹果 (zhè shì píng guǒ)?'

4. 4

   Time for a little challenge! Point to the plate and ask: 'your child, what is this? 盘子 (pán zi) or 杯子 (bēi zi)?'
