What you'll need

No special preparation needed - just step outside to your yard, balcony, or nearby outdoor space.

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Let's start with something green! Green is the color of growing things. Can you find something green in nature? It could be a leaf, grass, or anything natural that's green.

Watch for: Watch how child identifies green objects in the environment

  2. 2~30s

Now let's look for brown! Brown is the color of earth and tree trunks. Can you find something brown that's part of nature? Remember, we're looking for natural things, not toys or man-made objects.

Watch for: Watch how child distinguishes brown from other earth tones and finds natural brown objects

  3. 3~40s

Now for a creative challenge! Let's look for something colorful that's NOT green or brown. It could be a flower, a berry, a special leaf, or anything with a bright natural color. What colorful treasure can you find?

Watch for: Watch how child applies color knowledge flexibly to find novel colors in nature
