What you'll need

Find a small container like a bowl, basket, or even draw a circle with chalk. You'll be collecting safe natural items together.

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Let's start our treasure hunt! Help your child find 5-10 safe, small natural items - like pinecones, smooth stones, or fallen leaves. Encourage them to choose different types.

Watch for: Watch how your child selects and handles natural items

  2. 2~30s

Now place your container or draw a target circle about 3-5 feet away. Show your child how to hold one treasure in their hand, swing their arm back gently, and toss underhand toward the target.

Watch for: Watch their tossing motion and release

  3. 3~30s

Let's make it a counting game! Have your child toss each treasure one by one while you count together. Try different challenges like 'Can you toss the pinecone gently?' or 'Can you make the leaf float into the target?'

Watch for: Watch how they adjust their toss for different items
