What you'll need

Have your child's regular bath items ready: washcloth, child-safe soap, and a cup for rinsing. If you have a handheld showerhead or detachable faucet, that's perfect for our shower introduction.

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Let's start with our superhero scrub! Hand your child the washcloth and say, 'Superhero, your mission is to wash your arms and legs. Show me how you make those bubbles work!'

Watch for: Watch how your child approaches washing arms and legs. Do they initiate scrubbing? How thorough are they?

  2. 2~30s

Time for some rain magic! If you have a handheld shower or detachable faucet, let's introduce gentle shower rinsing. Say, 'Superhero, let's wash away the bubbles with warm rain! Can you help aim the water at your legs?'

Watch for: Observe your child's reaction to water flowing from above. Are they comfortable? Do they participate in aiming or adjusting?

  3. 3~40s

Final mission: Superhero handwashing! At the edge of the tub or sink, say, 'Time to defeat the germ monsters on your hands! Let's do our special 20-second scrub: palms, backs, between fingers, and thumbs!'

Watch for: Watch the sequence and thoroughness. Do they cover all surfaces? How long do they scrub?
