What you'll need

Gather a small plastic cup, a small bowl or container, and your usual bath soap. That's all you need!

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Let's start with washing hands! Say, 'Time to wash our hands!' Help your child wet their hands, put a little soap on their palms, and encourage them to rub their hands together. Watch how they participate.

Watch for: How does your child participate in washing their hands with soap?

  2. 2~30s

Now let's play with pouring! Give your child the cup and bowl. Show them how to scoop water with the cup and pour it into the bowl. Say, 'Pour the water!' Watch how they control the pouring.

Watch for: How does your child pour water from the cup to the bowl?

  3. 3~30s

Let's wash different body parts! Say, 'Can you wash your tummy?' Then 'Can you wash your knees?' Watch how they respond to body part names. You can demonstrate first if needed.

Watch for: How does your child respond when asked to wash specific body parts?
