What you'll need

Need: 2-3 small plastic cups/containers, bath toys, child-safe soap. Optional: washcloth, floating toys.

How it works

  1. 1~30s

Let's start with pouring play! Give your child two small cups. Say 'Can you pour water from the blue cup to the red cup?' Watch how they handle the pouring.

Watch for: Watch how child pours water from one container to another

  2. 2~30s

Now let's wash those busy hands! Put a little soap on their palms and say 'Let's make bubbles by rubbing our hands together like this!' Show them the rubbing motion. Watch how they participate.

Watch for: Watch how child participates in hand washing routine

  3. 3~30s

Time to wash different body parts! Say 'Can you wash your tummy? Now your knees!' Name 2-3 body parts. Watch how they respond and participate.
