How it works

  1. 1

First, let's plan our fort together. Ask your child, 'What should our fort look like? Should it be big, small, round, or have a special door?'

  2. 2

Now let's spread the blankets. Say, 'your child, can you hold this corner while I hold the other? We need to work together to make it flat.'

  3. 3

Time to place weights so the fort doesn't fall. Say, 'Let's take turns putting books on the corners. I'll go first, then it's your turn!'

  4. 4

Now let's make it cozy inside. Say, 'We need to share the pillows. Can you hand me two, and keep two for yourself?'
