How it works

Let's start by getting your child's attention. Hold up the soft toy and say in a playful voice, 'Hello your child! Can you say hello back?'

Now, let's take a turn back. Say, 'My turn! I'm going to make a silly sound... boop!' Then pause and ask, 'your child, can you make a sound too?'

Let's add a gesture exchange. Say, 'Now let's play peek-a-boo with our toy!' Cover the toy with your hands, then reveal it and say, 'Peek-a-boo! Your turn to hide it!'

Time for a little chat. Hold the toy and say, 'your child, what does our friend like to eat? Apples? Bananas?' Pause and listen for any response.
