Nature's Hidden Treasures Hunt

How it works

   Start by showing your child one of your pre-collected items, like the smooth stone. Say, 'Look what I found! What do you notice about this stone?'

   Now, invite your child to explore an item with the magnifying glass (or clear cup). Say, 'Let's use this to see even more! What tiny details can you find on this leaf?'

   Place a few items in your child's basket and say, 'Let's go on a treasure hunt! Can you find something outside that feels special to you?'

4. 4

   Once your child has a treasure, say, 'Let's learn more about your treasure. Can you describe it to me? How does it look, feel, or smell?'
