How it works

    Let’s begin with color sorting. Point to a red item and say, ‘Can you find all the things that are red like this one and put them in this bowl?’

  2. 2

    Now let’s sort by type. Hold up a spoon and say, ‘Let’s find all the spoons and put them in this bowl. Can you find things we use for eating?’

  3. 3

    Let’s try size sorting. Show a big block and a small block. Say, ‘Can you put all the big things in this bowl and all the small things in that bowl?’
