Treasure Hunt Check-In

How it works

1. 1

   First, let's set a goal together. Show your child the items we're going to find. Say, 'We're going to find these three things: a spoon, a sock, and a crayon. Let's draw or write them here on our paper so we remember.'

2. 2

   Now let's start the hunt! Set a timer for 2-3 minutes. Say, 'Let's see how many we can find before the timer goes off. If you want, we can check our paper as we go.'

3. 3

   When the timer goes off, gather any found items. Say, 'Let's see how we did! Look at our paper. Did we find everything we wanted?'

4. 4

   Wrap up by celebrating the effort. Say, 'We did it! Let's put a sticker or draw a happy face on our paper to show we tried. What was your favorite part?'
