How it works

  1. 1

Let's start with something simple. {Parent_name}, say your name slowly and clearly. {Child_name}, I want you to tap once for each syllable you hear. Ready? Say your name, you!

  2. 2

Now let's try with your child's favorite animals! {Parent_name}, name an animal with multiple syllables, like 'el-e-phant' or 'ti-ger'. {Child_name}, tap out the syllables on your container. What animal should we start with?

  3. 3

Time for some song fun! Let's use a simple song like 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. {Parent_name}, sing one line slowly. {Child_name}, tap the rhythm of the words - not just syllables, but the beat of the song. Ready? 'Twinkle, twinkle, little star...'

  4. 4

Now let's get creative! {Parent_name}, look around and name objects you see - like 'ta-ble', 'chair', 'win-dow'. {Child_name}, tap out each object's syllables, but this time, let's make different sounds - maybe loud taps for big objects, soft taps for small ones!
