Musical Freeze Dance
A fun, interactive dance game where {child_name} moves to music and freezes when it stops, helping develop rhythm, coordination, and body awareness.
Opens a guided voice session in TogetherTime.
How it works
- 1
Let's start by playing some music and encouraging your child to move theyr body. You can model simple movements like swaying, bouncing, or clapping. Say something like, 'Let's dance! Move your arms and legs!'
- 2
Now let's add the 'freeze' part. Pause the music and say 'Freeze!' while modeling a frozen pose. Then restart the music and say 'Dance!' Watch how your child responds to these cues.
- 3
Let's explore different types of movement. Try changing the music tempo or style (fast/slow, smooth/bouncy). Encourage your child to move differently for each type. Say things like, 'Now let's move like sleepy turtles' or 'Let's jump like bouncy bunnies!'
- 4
Let's make it interactive! Dance together, mirror each other's movements, or take turns leading. Say, 'Watch me!' then 'Now you try!' or 'Can you do what I do?'
