Kitchen Treasure Hunt

How it works

1. 1

   First, let's gather our treasures. Place the kitchen items on the floor and cover them with the blanket. Say to your child, 'I wonder what's hiding under here? Let's peek and see what we find!'

   Now pick up one item, like the wooden spoon. Hold it up and say, 'This isn't just a spoon—it could be something magical! What could we pretend it is?'

3. 3

   Next, hold up the colander or plastic bowl. Say, 'This bowl is special too. What could we pretend it is? Maybe a hat, a boat, or something else?'

4. 4

   Now invite your child to choose an item and show you what it could be. Say, 'Your turn! Pick one treasure and show me what amazing thing it can become.'
