How it works

  1. 1

Let's start by choosing our 'art pieces.' Walk around the kitchen with your child and pick 3-5 items that catch their eye—maybe something colorful, shiny, or with an interesting shape. Once you've gathered them, bring them to our gallery space (the table).

  2. 2

Now, let's arrange our gallery. Work with your child to place the items on the table. Think about how they look together—maybe group by color, or spread them out to give each piece space. There's no right or wrong way!

  3. 3

Time for our gallery tour! Pretend we're visitors. Walk slowly around the table with your child. Look closely at each item. Ask your child: 'What do you see? What does it remind you of? How does it make you feel?'

  4. 4

Let's imagine the stories behind our art. Pick one item with your child. Ask: 'If this could talk, what would it say? Who might have made it? Where has it been?' Encourage silly or serious ideas.
