How it works

  1. 1

First, let's create our 'Feelings Friends'! Help your child draw or choose two characters - maybe animals, people, or imaginary creatures. As you create them, talk about how each character might be feeling today.

  2. 2

Now let's give our characters a story! Imagine something happens to one character - maybe they find a special treasure or their favorite toy breaks. Ask your child: 'How do you think {character_name} feels about this?'

  3. 3

Now let's switch perspectives! Ask your child: 'What could the other character do to help?' Encourage thinking about comforting actions or words.

  4. 4

Let's make it personal! Ask your child: 'Have you ever felt like {character_name}? What helped you feel better?'
