How it works

1. 1

   Let's start by showing your child the items. Place them on the floor or table and say, 'Look what we have! What do you think these can do?'

   Now let's see how your child experiments with the items. You can say, 'What sounds can we make? Can you bang them together or shake them?'

3. 3

   Let's encourage your child's own ideas. Say, 'What else can we do with these? Can you make up your own way to play?'

4. 4

   Let's extend the play. Ask, 'Can we make a band? What instrument are you? Should we play a song together?'
