Peekaboo Finder — Where's the Hidden Toy?
Parent hides a toy under a cloth while baby watches, then encourages baby to find it. Agent guides parent through increasingly complex hiding to assess object permanence development, while making it a delightful game of peek-a-boo with objects.

What you'll need
Parent and baby on floor facing each other. One appealing toy and one small cloth or light blanket for hiding. Baby should be in stable seated position.
How it works
- 1~15s
Start by playing with the toy together for a moment — shake it, make it talk, whatever makes your child light up. I want your child really interested in it before we hide it. How's your child responding to the toy?

Now, while your child is watching, slowly put the cloth over the toy — but leave a little bit sticking out. Say 'Where did it go?' in a fun voice. Does your child go for the toy? Pull the cloth off? Tell me what happens!

- 3~20s
Now try the full hide — cover the toy completely with the cloth, nothing peeking out. Use an excited voice: 'Where's the toy? Can you find it?' Give your child about 10 seconds. What does they do?

Great game! Two more quick things — when your child found the toy (or tried to), did they have to move to get to it? Like leaning forward, scooting, or crawling? And how was the mood — excited, frustrated, giggly?
