Kitchen Story Time

How it works

1. 1

   First, let's pick a kitchen item together. Hold up the spoon and ask: 'your child, 这是什么？我们用它来做什么？' (What is this? What do we use it for?)

2. 2

   Now let's imagine we're cooking. Hold the bowl and spoon and say: 'your child, 我们用勺子和碗做什么菜？' (What dish do we make with the spoon and bowl?)

3. 3

   Let's add a vegetable. Hold up a vegetable (real or toy) and ask: 'your child, 这个蔬菜叫什么？你喜欢吃吗？为什么？' (What's this vegetable called? Do you like to eat it? Why?)

4. 4

   Now let's tell a short story. Point to all items and say: 'your child, 请用勺子、碗和蔬菜讲一个小故事。' (Please use the spoon, bowl, and vegetable to tell a short story.)
