Kindness Quest
Parent and child plan and do three kind things for family members. The agent coaches the parent to observe the child's empathy, initiative, and understanding that kindness makes others feel good.

What you'll need
No special materials — just willingness to help and create. Drawing materials optional. Family members or friends as recipients.
How it works
- 1~30s
Ask your child: 'What kind thing could we do for [family member]?' Let your child think of ideas. Does they suggest something? Can they think about what would make someone else happy? Then pick one idea and do it together.
Watch for: Child generates ideas for kind acts, showing prosocial thinking.
- 2~30s
Now do the kind act together! As you do it, watch your child's face. Does they seem happy doing the kind thing? When the person receives the kindness, does your child watch their reaction? Does they seem to feel good about making someone happy?
Watch for: Child shows positive emotion while being kind and watches the recipient's response.
- 3~20s
After doing the kind acts, sit with your child and reflect. Ask: 'How did it feel to be kind?' and 'How do you think [person] felt?' This reflection deepens the learning. Does your child connect kindness to positive emotions for both the giver and receiver?
Watch for: Child reflects on kindness and connects it to emotions for self and others.
