Opens a guided voice session in TogetherTime.
How it works
- 1
First, let's warm up. Show your child the stairs and the soft toy at the top. Say something like, 'Look! Your teddy is waiting for you up there! Can you walk up to give them a hug?' Encourage your child to try walking up normally. Watch how they moves their feet.
- 2
Now, let's add a fun pattern. If you have tape or stickers, point them out. Say, 'Let's step on each colorful spot! Step on the blue... now step on the red!' If not, just say, 'Step on each step with a different foot—left, right, left, right!' Watch how your child coordinates their feet with the visual or verbal cue.
- 3
Time for a superhero mission! Say, 'Your toy is cold! Can you take this blanket (or towel) up to keep them warm?' Hand your child the small blanket. Watch how they manages the stairs while holding something.
- 4
Let's do one more round, but this time, encourage independence. Say, 'Can you go up all by yourself like a big kid? I'll watch from here.' Observe your child's confidence and footwork when they knows you're not right beside them.
